Customer Manager at XL Bygg Håga Byggvaror, Västerhaninge
XL Bygg Håga Byggvaror is in a clear expansion phase and has an exciting growth journey ahead. We are now looking for a business-driven customer manager with a strong focus on new customer acquisition who wants to help build our customer base and develop our facility in Västerhaninge.
We are looking for someone who loves new customer outreach, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by creating business from the ground up. You are confident in the construction industry, take initiative, and know how to drive business all the way – from the first contact to closing the deal.
About the role
This is a distinct new customer and business development role. You will be proactive towards construction companies, contractors, and decision-makers in the construction industry. Picking up the phone, booking meetings on-site, and having direct dialogues with site managers, purchasers, and company leaders is a natural part of your daily routine.
You fully own the business, work in a structured manner, and have a clear focus on results, growth, and closing deals.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Actively prospect and establish new customers within the construction industry – from first contact to established business.
- Plan, prepare, and conduct customer visits with a clear business focus.
- Drive business at a fast pace and ensure clear closures.
- Build long-term and trusting customer relationships with professional feedback.
- Own and develop your own customer portfolio with full business responsibility.
- Ensure smooth handover to inside sales and contribute to a high level of service throughout the business.
We are looking for someone who
- Has solid product knowledge in building materials and/or experience from a lumber yard.
- Is strong in new customer outreach and thrives in a role with high pace and activity.
- Has experience in outbound sales, prospecting, and business development within the construction industry, or has a strong established network and experience from similar sales roles.
- Is confident in customer dialogue and can drive business with structure, pace, and clear feedback.
- Holds a B driver's license.
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing; English is a plus.
- Experience with the business system TRYGG is a plus.

Employment
Permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months.
